To ensure your product remains beautiful and retains its shape for a long time, please follow these care instructions:

• Products made from XXL cotton yarn: Please wash exclusively on a gentle or delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F). Washing this yarn at higher temperatures may cause the structure to become extremely fuzzy or the material to shrink significantly, which would alter the product and make the sleeping area much too small for your pet.
• Products made from premium cord yarn: These products are more robust and can be washed at higher temperatures in emergencies (for heavy soiling). However, please note that the heat may cause some minor shrinkage, and higher temperatures carry the risk of the colors fading.
• General washing rules for both yarn types: Please always use a mild detergent and choose a low spin speed to protect the fibers and the shape of the product.
• Drying instructions: These products are not suitable for tumble drying and should be air-dried. Once dry, reshape the product as needed.

• Tolerances: As each product is a unique handmade item, production-related variations of up to +/- 4 cm may occur.

Selecting the right materials is a matter close to my heart. To ensure complete transparency, you can find detailed information about the two high-quality yarns I use for my products here:

• My XXL Yarn (Cotton): A wonderfully voluminous comfort yarn designed for extra cozy, thick textures. The cotton on the outside of the yarn is tested for harmful substances. Inside, a soft polyester (PES) core ensures perfect shape and stability.

• My Premium Cord Yarn (Recycled Cotton): A robust yarn characterized by an elaborate, multi-layered construction. It consists of two interlocking knitted tubes made from recycled cotton. A tiny inner core contains integrated polyester fibers, which give the yarn its wonderful softness and flexibility.

What makes the color of this cord yarn special: This yarn is produced completely without the addition of new chemical dyes. The colors are created through authentic textile recycling: selected cotton fabrics and pre-worn clothing are sorted by color, finely shredded, and ground down. These pre-colored materials are then blended in perfect ratios and spun directly into new yarn. This process protects the environment and makes every color a sustainable highlight.

• Good to know: All raw materials I purchase are manufactured within the EU and sourced from selected suppliers whose cotton fibers have been tested according to strict textile safety standards.

• Color Samples: Please note that the color charts for the XXL yarn are shown using my "Emma" cave model for illustrative purposes only. I do not create separate color charts for every single product. The charts are solely intended to help you choose your color; you will receive the specific product model you selected in your order.
• Screen Variations: Please be aware that colors may appear slightly different depending on the individual calibration of your smartphone, tablet, or PC screen. To be absolutely sure that the color meets your expectations, you have the option to order color samples in my shop beforehand.
• Color Sample Refund: If you decide to order a product in that yarn after receiving a color sample, the purchase price of the sample (excluding shipping costs) will be credited back to you. Please contact me BEFORE placing your main order so I can issue a discount code for you to enter at checkout. Unfortunately, it is not possible to apply this credit after an order has been completed.
• Batch Variations: Please note that shades can vary depending on the yarn manufacturer’s production batch. If a single delivery of yarn is not sufficient to complete a product, I may have to start using a new batch mid-production (for example, halfway through a basket). This can result in visible color variations within a single product. This is a production-related characteristic of these materials and does not constitute a defect or grounds for a complaint.

• VAT & Pricing: The prices on the product pages may initially be displayed including German VAT. Once you select a delivery country outside the EU in your shopping cart, the price will automatically update to exclude German VAT, as it is not charged for deliveries to non-EU countries.
• Customs & Import Duties: Please keep in mind that once your order arrives in your country, additional customs duties, import fees, or local taxes may be charged. These regulations vary from country to country.
• Responsibility for Fees: These additional costs are your responsibility and are not covered by me. Please check with your local customs office or relevant authorities in advance to determine what fees may apply in your country.

• Supervision: Please check the product regularly for any signs of damage. Especially in the beginning, please do not leave your pet unattended with the product to see how they react to it.
• Exclusion of liability for pet damage: As these products are made from elastic textile materials, they are not resistant to sharp teeth or intense use of claws. I do not accept any liability or provide a warranty for damage caused by your pet biting, chewing, scratching, or digging. Shredding or biting through the material is not a quality defect of the yarn, but rather mechanical damage caused by the pet and does not constitute grounds for a complaint.
