Details

Lovingly hand-felted felt balls, felt eggs & felt stones of various sizes made from pure new wool from sheep from species-appropriate mulesing-free husbandry.


I make the balls myself.


Most of the felted balls, beds and caves are imported from Nepal. The wool for them often comes from abused and not species-appropriate (free-range) sheep from China or Australia. Unfortunately, these are sold as "fair trade", although in reality they have nothing whatsoever to do with "fair". Neither the sheep from which the wool comes nor the women who make the products are treated well. Nepal is one of the countries with the cheapest wages in the whole world. It makes me sad to see all these so-called "fair trade" texts in the descriptions when items are sold so cheaply that everyone should realise that this can't be fair at all, because the shipping alone from Nepal to Germany is very expensive and there are also several traders in between who earn money from it, right up to the seller here in Germany, who earns a tidy sum from it, otherwise it wouldn't be worth the effort! I would just like to share this with you to encourage you to think. Maybe it will open some people's eyes. Unfortunately, we all look the other way in too many areas. In some areas it is not possible to avoid such things, but in cases like this it is.


The processed wool comes exclusively from free-range sheep from Germany and Austria, which are driven into the valley once a year for shearing.


The colours and sizes are not selectable.

They are always random colours (also natural colours), which can be single or multi-coloured.


It is also advisable to wash the balls hot at 60⁰ C every now and then if you play with them a lot and fibres stick out. The fibres will then felt together again with the others and the balls will look as good as new😊 This way, your four-legged friends will enjoy the balls for a long time.

I try to process orders as quickly as possible. I usually ship the ordered items within 4-14 days. However, it can sometimes take longer. This happens if your desired yarn color is currently out of stock and I'm waiting for a restock, or if I've just received a large number of orders. Since I only have two hands, I process each order in order.

Raw materials:

I select my raw materials with particular care. My yarns are either certified organic cotton, certified according to both GOTS and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, or made from recycled cotton and recycled fibers. The new wool toys I currently have are made from mulesing-free new wool from free-range sheep. The sheep live freely in the Tyrolean mountains and are driven down to the valley once a year for shearing. New wool products will only be available until my wool supply is exhausted. After that, I will only offer vegan products.
