My products, with the exception of items in the "Sale" category, felt toys, cork balls without ribbons, and Bobbiny yarn, are handmade by me only after you place your order, based on your individual color and size selection. These items are not subject to statutory cancellation, as they are not pre-made, handcrafted products that are only made after your individual selection: § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB (German Civil Code).

The XXL organic cotton yarn is processed and cut by me according to your order quantity and therefore cannot be returned to its original state and is therefore also excluded from return.

The Felt toys Items like worms, snakes, balls, and the like can be washed at all temperatures.

The Cotton toys You can wash it up to 60°C if necessary, but I recommend using a laundry bag. At temperatures above 30°C, the toy may bleed color.

Beds, caves and baskets made from filled XXL organic cotton yarn, textile yarn or bobbin yarn:

All items made from cotton yarns are washable; I recommend washing them at 30°C on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent. After washing, please reshape and stretch (especially if the garment is hollow).

For products made from XXL yarn: At temperatures above 30°C, the yarn can swell considerably, significantly reducing the sleeping surface. This swelling is caused by the polyester hollow fibers that fill the cotton knitted tube. The cotton tube then stretches excessively. Furthermore, washing at high temperatures can cause color fading and pilling due to friction.

Organic cotton - raw cotton (natural white):

Made from raw (organic) cotton (unspun, looks like merino wool):
These are unspun, combed cotton fibers.
The fibers are loose and come out easily.
Products made from unspun cotton are very sensitive to claws. Therefore, they are unsuitable for dogs that dig, and also for cats that knead excessively. They quickly become frayed because the fibers easily come loose from the strands.
Because of the loose fibers, they can naturally swirl around a bit. This isn't a problem for calm cats. I only recommend these raw cotton beds for calm cats. My cats are quite energetic, but they lie very relaxed on the windowsills, so the beds still look brand new even after months of use. However, if you have kittens that play vigorously on the windowsill, in their dens, or in their baskets, you won't get much use out of these products, as they will quickly become worn and unsightly.

Products like baskets, beds, and dens made of raw cotton must be washed individually and, above all, protected (in a laundry bag or pillowcase) to prevent the fibers from fraying. Wash at a maximum of 30°C. After washing, the cotton will feel different and look more compressed. They will feel soft again after air drying. I haven't personally put any of these beds in the dryer, so I can neither recommend nor advise against it.

Manufacturing and dimensional information

All measurements are approximate, as everything is handmade by me only after an order is placed (except for finished, one-of-a-kind pieces in the "Sale" category). Therefore, there may be deviations of +/- 1-3 cm. I always do my best to meet your desired dimensions, but I cannot guarantee them.

Important: The dimensions given are ALWAYS the external dimensions unless explicitly stated, as with the caves, that they refer to the approximate internal sleeping area. The internal dimensions can vary considerably. For cotton products, this is approximately 4-14 cm depending on the yarn.

Non-prefabricated handmade work:
Everything you order from my shop (except for the yarns and the cork balls without ribbons) is handmade by me according to your wishes only after receipt of your order and is therefore excluded from exchange.

Please note: I cannot guarantee that the size recommendations are 100% correct - they are just my recommendations.

To be on the safe side, measure your animals while they are lying down (diameter) and add another 15-20 cm.

Caves (recommendation for cats):

XS: for cats up to 2-2.5 kg (& Mini Chihuahuas)
S: for cats up to 3.5 kg
M: for cats up to 4.5 kg
L: for larger cats up to 6.5 kg
XL: for cats up to 8 kg
XXL: for cats up to 10 kg

Since the approximate inner dimensions are now given, I recommend measuring your four-legged friend while lying down and choosing the size accordingly.

Where do my yarns come from?:

All the yarns are manufactured in the EU.

The filled XXL organic cotton yarn consists of OEKTO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified organic cotton on the outside and is therefore free of harmful substances.

The raw, unspun organic cotton – natural white – comes from South America.

Bobbiny yarn consists of recycled cotton on the outside and recycled dye on the other. To create it, recycled cotton clothing is finely ground, and the colors are then mixed from this "dye dust." Therefore, slight color variations may occur between different batches. The 9mm yarn is made of two knitted cotton tubes nested inside each other. The smaller inner tube contains a few polyester fibers as filling, which makes the yarn a little softer.

Suitability of raw organic cotton (natural white - like cotton wool):

The beds and caves made from unspun organic cotton with a wool-like appearance are not suitable for cats and dogs that dig, scratch, mark, or knead excessively before lying down. The cotton is sensitive to claws and is therefore only suitable for calmer cats and dogs that use the beds exclusively for sleeping. This is also stated with the beds. Should your pets destroy the bed because you did not read the instructions, there will be no refund and of course no replacement.

I offer a wide selection of colors. Some of these are specially ordered for you, as I don't always have all colors in stock. Therefore, it's very important that you're sure about your color choice. You can always contact me before placing your order, and I'll be happy to help you, for example, with additional sample images of the respective color. Colors are displayed differently on every screen. Unfortunately, a crib in a color you mistakenly ordered is excluded from exchange and return. You can order color samples of the colors if you want to be sure they match. You can find these in the Yarns category.

The following applies to products made from XXL yarn: At temperatures hotter than 30°C, the yarn can swell up enormously, which naturally reduces the size of the lying surface. The swelling is caused by the polyester fibers with which the cotton knitted tube is filled. The cotton knitted tube then stretches extremely. In addition, washing at hot temperatures can cause the color to fade and pilling can occur due to friction.

However, if you have kittens who also play a lot on the windowsill, in their caves and baskets, you won't be able to enjoy the products for long as they will no longer look nice.

Everything you order in my shop (except for the yarns and the cork balls without ribbons) will only be handmade by me according to your wishes after receipt of order and is therefore excluded from exchange. For filled XXL yarn there is only a 14-day cancellation period if 4 kg of each color is purchased. If you purchase less than 4 kg, I have to cut the yarn to the desired quantity and it can therefore no longer be restored to its original condition.

If your pets destroy the bed because you have not read the instructions, there will be no refund and of course no reshipment.

I offer you many colors to choose from. Some of these are ordered especially for you, as I don't always have all the colors in stock. It is therefore very important that you are sure of your color choice. You can always contact me before placing your order and I will help you with further example images of the respective color. Colors are displayed differently on every screen. A bed in the wrong color ordered by you is unfortunately excluded from exchange and cancellation. You can order color samples of the colors if you want to be sure that the colors match. You can find these in the category Yarns.
