Mobile pet care for cats, rodents, rabbits and other small animals in the Nienburg district

I am a ZFU-certified trained animal psychologist, behavior therapist and husbandry consultant for cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, degus, rats and chinchillas.

I offered a mobile pet sitting service in Hanover for several years, which was very popular. In that capacity, I cared for many cats, as well as rabbits, birds, and guinea pigs. I also worked as a dog walker.

I had paused this service since 2020. Now I am again offering mobile pet sitting and dog walking services in the area around 31618 Liebenau.

Services:

I offer mobile pet care for your cats, rodents, rabbits, birds, and other animals (no dogs) by appointment. This means I come to your home and care for your pets with lots of love in their familiar surroundings. Please note that I do not accept animals for care at my home. I only offer mobile pet care.

How does it all work? First, we'll schedule an appointment where I can meet your pets and, of course, you, and discuss the contract documents with you. At this appointment, you'll show me everything relevant to the pet care, such as the location of the litter boxes, the food, and where the vaccination records are kept. This appointment costs €20 plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled. The price includes 19% VAT. The initial consultation can last from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of pets and what needs to be discussed. You can deduct part of the invoice as a household-related service from your taxes.

I come either once or twice a day, depending on what we agreed upon in the contract.

I will feed your animals, clean the litter boxes and enclosures for an extra charge, and I will keep your sweeties occupied, entertained and cuddled, if desired.

I can also empty your mailboxes and place you in a designated spot, and water your plants for an additional fee and effort.

I'm happy to send you daily pictures or short videos of your sweet four-legged or two-legged friends, so you can enjoy your vacation or other time away with peace of mind, knowing that everything is alright. This service has always been very well received.

Food, litter and everything else necessary for the care must be available for the entire period.

Since I cannot adhere to precise times, I cannot care for animals whose lives depend on medication being administered repeatedly at exact times. Of course, a 1-2 hour variation in timing is not a problem. Please note that this applies exclusively to animals with chronic, non-contagious illnesses, such as those affecting the heart, kidneys, pancreas, etc. Animals with contagious diseases are excluded from care. Please see "Important" below for more information. Before each care session, I require a health certificate from the treating veterinarian confirming that the animals do not have any contagious diseases, fungal infections, or parasites (fleas, worms, lice, etc.). This is for the safety of all animals in my care, and of course, for my own.

Important:

I do not care for animals with contagious diseases or parasites, as I risk transmitting them to my own animals and potentially to other animals in my care. If you are not honest about this during our initial consultation, and I discover at the start of the care period that one or more of the animals are sick or infested with parasites, the care will be terminated immediately, and the care fee will be retained and will not be refunded. Furthermore, a fee of €2500, and potentially higher, will be charged for fraud and the associated treatment costs of other animals affected by potential infection. Should an animal become ill during the care period, you must either have a prior arrangement with someone from your family or circle of friends to take over the care for the remainder of the stay, or you must cut your vacation short. The risk of infecting other animals is simply too high. Unfortunately, I already had this experience once in Hanover, and my two cats suffered from diarrhea for three months due to a sick dog I walked, even though the owner told me it was healthy. I won't tolerate that again and ask for your understanding. I'm sure you wouldn't want me bringing diseases home to your animals either.

Prices:

Introductory meeting: lump sum €20 for a 30- to 60-minute session, depending on the scope of the discussion, plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled from Schillerstr., 31618 Liebenau for the round trip. Payment is due 3 days prior to the appointment. This fee is non-refundable and applies even if no support services are arranged after the initial consultation. If support services are arranged for a period of 2 weeks or more, the €20 fee will be credited towards the consultation.

Cats:

Rabbits and rodents:

Most rodents don't want that, though.

Weekend and holiday surcharges:

Saturday surcharge: 50% surcharge on the chosen type of care

Sunday and public holiday surcharge: 100% surcharge on the selected type of care

Examples: Selected type: 1x daily 10 minutes: Here, the Saturday supplement would be €6 for each Saturday in childcare, the Sunday and public holiday supplement would be €12 per Sunday/public holiday.

Additional services:

Cleaning the litter box:

Per toilet: €3 (only urine and feces need to be scooped out)

Complete emptying, cleaning and refilling per toilet: €18 per emptying

Enclosure cleaning: Depending on the size, between €50 and €150 per cleaning.

Walking cats:€15 per 20 minutes(only if they are used to walking, feel safe outdoors and have a safety harness)

Watering flowers: Depending on the effort involved, between €5 and €100 per casting.

Watering the garden with a connected garden hose: 50-150€ / Watering and effort

Veterinary visit: WIf an animal becomes ill during care and we cannot wait until you return: charges apply per minute for packing, driving, the stay, the return trip, and unloading – €1 per minute plus €0.60 per kilometer driven.

Buy more food: €50 plus the cost of food and €1.60 per kilometer driven.

Buy more litter: €50 plus the cost of the litter and €1.60 per kilometer driven.

Trimming the claws of guinea pigs and rabbitsIf necessary, and especially if feasible (must be tested during the initial meeting): €3 per animal

Cleaning the food and water bowls: for free

Emptying the mailbox: for free

Raising and lowering the roller shutters: for free

Sending you pictures and videos daily: for free

Take the waste generated by the care to the trash can.: for free

The agreed care costs will be paid in advance by bank transfer at least 14 days before the start of the service.

Costs incurred if childcare is cancelled:

If childcare is cancelled up to 2 weeks before the start: €30

Up to 7 days before the start of care: €50

Up to 5 days before the start of care: €90

Up to 3 days before the start of care: 50% of the total costs that would have been incurred, excluding mileage surcharges, are due.

If care is terminated due to the animal's illness: 50% of the costs for the remaining days.

In case of holiday cancellation for any reason whatsoever: 100% of the remaining days that would have been covered, excluding the €1.60 travel costs per kilometer. from 31618 Liebenau.

If the care arrangements begin despite the animals being ill and the illness not being honestly reported: 100% of the total costs, excluding €1.60 per kilometer driven. Plus a €2,500 penalty (possibly more), plus all resulting veterinary costs incurred by me or the other animals under my care.

Composition of the mileage allowance: €1 for time spent plus €0.60 for petrol, wear and tear and excess kilometers of my car subscription.

Dog walking from Monday to Friday around lunchtime or by appointment:

I only walk dogs that are well-behaved on a leash and not aggressive, and only if I am demonstrably covered by your liability insurance. Furthermore, I only walk healthy dogs, as the risk of infecting other animals in my care, as well as my own, is too high. During one of the 30-60 minute walks, I am happy to include play breaks if your dogs enjoy fetching or similar activities.

We'll start with a get-to-know-you walk with your dog. After all, the chemistry between your dogs and me has to be right :)

This costs €20 plus €1.60 per kilometer driven for the round trip. The €1.60 is comprised of: €1 per kilometer for time and €0.60 per kilometer for fuel and vehicle wear and tear. from 31618 LiebenauThe costs include 19% VAT. The walk can last between 1.5 and 30 hours, including the contract discussion and clarification of where I can find everything in the house or apartment (leashes, collars, poop bags, water bowl, etc.).

1 dog:

Afterwards, I can gladly give your dog the food you have prepared.

2 dogs:

10 minutes: €22 plus €1.60 per kilometer travelled (round trip; please see above for how the €1.60 is calculated)

30 minutes: €40 plus €1.60 per kilometer travelled (round trip; please see above for how the €1.60 is calculated)

60 minutes: €70 plus €1.60 per kilometer travelled (round trip; please see above for how the €1.60 is calculated)

Afterwards, I can gladly give your dog the food you have prepared.

Attention! If you know someone who also needs a dog walker in your immediate vicinity and your dogs get along, I can offer a combined dog walking contract and split the cost into two invoices. For example, for one hour: €35 per person/dog instead of €60 per dog individually. Each additional dog costs only €8 extra, depending on the desired duration. However, this is only possible if I can walk all three dogs together at the same time. I walk a maximum of three dogs. If the dogs are large breeds, I do not offer walks with multiple dogs simultaneously, or a trial walk would be necessary. I can only offer this service if I am confident and able to safely walk three large dogs together.

I offer a discount for daily and monthly dog walking bookings. We would need to discuss this further.
