Mobile pet care for cats, rodents, rabbits and other small animals in the Nienburg district

I am a zfu-certified animal psychologist, behavior therapist, and behavioral consultant for cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, degus, rats, and chinchillas.

I've been offering mobile pet care in Hanover for several years, which was very popular. As such, I've cared for many cats, as well as rabbits, birds, and guinea pigs. I've also been a dog walker.

I've been on hiatus since 2020. Now I'm offering mobile pet care and dog walking services again in the area around 31618 Liebenau.

Services:

I offer mobile pet care for your cats, rodents, rabbits, birds, and other animals (no dogs) by arrangement. This means I will come to your home and provide your pets with lots of love and care in their familiar surroundings. Please note that I do not take animals into my home for care. I only offer mobile pet care.

How does it all work? First, an appointment is scheduled, during which I get to know your animals and, of course, you, and discuss the contract documents with you. During this appointment, you will show me all the details relevant to your care, such as where the litter boxes are located, where the food is, where vaccination records are kept, etc. This appointment costs €20 plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled. The cost includes 19% VAT. The first consultation can last from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of animals and what needs to be clarified. You can deduct part of the invoice from your taxes as a household-related service.

I come either once or twice a day, depending on what we agreed to in the contract.

I feed your animals, clean the litter boxes and enclosures for an additional charge, and I keep your pets busy, entertained, and cuddled if desired.

I can also empty your mailboxes, place you in a designated spot, and water your plants for an additional fee.

I'd be happy to send you daily pictures or short videos of your sweet four-legged or two-legged friends, so you can enjoy your vacation or other absence with peace of mind, knowing that everything is okay. This has always been very welcome.

Food, bedding and everything necessary for care must be available for the entire period.

Since I can't adhere to exact schedules, I can't care for animals whose lives depend on medication being administered repeatedly at a precise time. If it's okay if the time varies by 1-2 hours, that's fine. Please note: This only concerns chronic, non-contagious diseases, such as those of the heart, kidneys, pancreas, etc. Contagious animals are excluded from my care. Please read the "Important" section below. Before starting any care, I must receive a health certificate from the attending veterinarian confirming that the animals are free from contagious diseases, fungal infections, or parasites (fleas, worms, lice, etc.). This is for the safety of all animals in my care, and of course, also for my own.

Important:

I do not care for animals that have contagious diseases or parasites, as I would otherwise pass these on to my own animals and possibly to other animals in my care. If you are not honest about this during the consultation and I discover at the start of the care that one or all of the animals are sick or infected with parasites, the care will be terminated immediately and the care fee will be retained and non-refundable! In addition, a sum of €2,500, or possibly higher amounts, will be charged for fraud and the associated costs of treating other animals that may have been affected by the infection. Should an animal become ill while in your care, you must either make an agreement with someone from your family or circle of friends beforehand that they will take over the remainder of the care, or you must cut short your vacation. The risk of infecting other animals is simply too great. Unfortunately, I already had this experience once in Hanover, and my two cats had diarrhea for three months. It was caused by a sick dog I was walking, and the owner told me he was healthy. I won't do this again, and I ask for your understanding. You certainly wouldn't want me to introduce diseases to your animals either.

Prices:

Introductory conversation: lump sum €20 for 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how much there is to discuss, plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled from Schillerstr., 31618 Liebenau for the round trip. This fee is payable up to three days before the appointment. Even if no support is arranged after the consultation, this fee is due in advance and is non-refundable. If support is agreed for two weeks or more, the €20 will be credited to your account.

Care during holidays, hospital, rehabilitation etc. for cats, rodents, rabbits and birds:

Cats:

1x daily only feeding (short cuddle) approx. 10 minutes stay:12 € per day plus 1.60 € per kilometer for a return trip from 31618 Liebenau

Feed only twice a day, each time for about 10 minutes:22 € per day plus 1.60 € per kilometer driven for each round trip from 31618 Liebenau

Feed twice a day and 20 minutes of entertainment (playing and cuddling) - total about 30 minutes each: 37 € per day plus 1.60 € per kilometer for the return journey from 31618 Liebenau

Feed twice a day and 50 minutes of entertainment (playing and cuddling) - total approx. 60 minutes each: 68 € per day plus 1.60 € per kilometer for a return trip from 31618 Liebenau

Rabbits and rodents:

Feed only once a day, spend about 20 minutes with rodents by washing and chopping vegetables, salad and fruit:20 € per day plus 1.60 € per kilometer for the round trip from 31618 Liebenau

Feed only twice a day, approximately 20 minutes each time, by washing and chopping vegetables, salad and fruit:36 € per day plus 1.60 € per kilometer for a return trip from 31618 Liebenau

Weekend and holiday surcharges:

Saturday surcharge: 50% surcharge on the selected type of care

Sunday and public holiday surcharge: 100% surcharge on the selected type of care

Examples: selected type: 1x daily 10 minutes: Here the Saturday supplement would be for each Saturday in care plus 6€, the Sunday and holiday supplement would be 12€ per Sunday/holiday

Additional services:

Litter box cleaning:

Per toilet: 3€ (only removing urine and feces with the scoop)

Complete emptying, cleaning and refilling per toilet: 18 € per emptying

Enclosure cleaning: Depending on the size, between 50 and 150€ per cleaning

Walking cats:15€ per 20 minutes(only if they are used to walking, feel safe outside and have a safety harness)

Watering flowers: Depending on the effort, between 5 and 100€ per pour

Watering the garden with a connected garden hose: 50-150€ / watering and effort

Vet visit: WIf an animal falls ill during care and cannot be waited until you return: minute billing for packing, driving and stay, as well as the return journey and unloading) - per minute 1€ plus 0.60€ per kilometer driven

Buy more food: 50€ plus the cost of food and 1.60€ per kilometer driven

Buy more litter: 50€ plus the cost of the litter and 1.60€ per kilometer driven

Cutting claws in guinea pigs and rabbits, if necessary and especially if feasible (must be tested during the initial interview): 3 € per animal

Cleaning the food and water bowls: for free

Empty mailbox: for free

Raise and lower shutters: for free

Send you pictures and videos daily: for free

Take out any rubbish generated by the childcare to the bin: for free

The agreed care costs are to be paid in advance by bank transfer at least 14 days before the start of the treatment.

Costs for cancellation of care:

If a care session is cancelled up to 2 weeks before the start: 30€

up to 7 days before the start of care: 50€

up to 5 days before the start of care: 90€

Up to 3 days before the start of care: 50% of the total costs that would have been incurred without the mileage surcharges are due

In case of termination during the care due to illness of the animal: 50% of the costs of the days that would have still come

In case of holiday interruption for whatever reason: 100% of the remaining days that would have been cared for, excluding the €1.60 travel costs per kilometer from 31618 Liebenau.

If care begins despite the animals being ill and no honest notification was given: 100% of the total costs, excluding the €1.60 per kilometer driven. Plus a €2,500 fine, possibly more, plus all resulting veterinary costs incurred by me or the other animals in my care.

Composition of the mileage allowance: €1 time plus €0.60 for petrol, wear and tear, and additional kilometres on my car subscription.

Dog walking from Monday to Friday at lunchtime or by appointment:

I only walk dogs that are on a leash and are non-aggressive, and only if I can prove that I am covered by your liability insurance. Furthermore, I only walk healthy dogs, as the risk of infection to other animals in my care, including my own, is too great. During one of the 30-60 minute walks, I'm happy to take breaks for play if your dogs enjoy playing fetch or something similar.

Beforehand, there will be an introductory walk with the dog. Because the chemistry between your dogs and me has to be right :)

This costs €20 plus €1.60 per kilometer driven for the round trip. The €1.60 is broken down as follows: €1 per kilometer for time spent and €0.60 per kilometer for fuel and wear and tear on the vehicle. from 31618 LiebenauThe costs include 19% VAT. 2 dogs:

10 minutes: €22 plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled for a return trip (please see above for the breakdown of the €1.60)

30 minutes: €40 plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled for a return trip (please see above for the breakdown of the €1.60)

60 minutes: €70 plus €1.60 per kilometer traveled for a return trip (please see above for the breakdown of the €1.60)

Afterwards, I can happily give your dog food that you have prepared.

Please note: If you know someone who also needs a dog walker in your immediate area and your dogs get along, I can also arrange a contract for two dogs and split the costs between two invoices. For example, for one hour: €35 per person/dog instead of €60 per dog individually. For an additional dog, there is only an additional €8 depending on the desired time. But only if I can walk all the dogs at the same time. I walk with a maximum of three dogs. If the dogs are large breeds, I do not offer to walk multiple dogs at the same time, or you would have to do test runs. Because I can only offer this if I can walk three large dogs perfectly safely.

I offer a discount for daily and monthly dog walking bookings. This might need to be discussed.

The trips are always from Schillerstr. 31618 Liebenau If someone else in the immediate vicinity has booked care during the same period, the cost per kilometer will be reduced.
