General terms and conditions of participation & data protection notice for social media competitions

The organizer of the social media competitions is PETLOVEDE, Schillerstr. 10, 31618 Liebenau.

The giveaways are in no way affiliated with Instagram or Meta and are neither sponsored, endorsed, nor organized by Meta.

Eligibility
Natural persons aged 18 and over with an active, public Instagram account are eligible to participate, unless otherwise specified in the respective competition post.
The specific participation requirements (e.g., liking, following, commenting, tagging, etc.) are detailed in the respective competition post.

Only genuine, private Instagram accounts with demonstrably authentic usage are eligible to participate. Accounts whose activity related to the organizer's Instagram account is limited solely to participating in contests or which show no other recognizable interaction with the organizer's regular posts may be excluded from participation.

Fake accounts, automated entries, and abusive behavior will also lead to disqualification. The organizer reserves the right to exclude such accounts from the competition after a thorough and verifiable review.

Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person per competition is permitted.

Profit
The type, scope and number of prizes are determined by the respective competition entry.

If a product is raffled off in a specific standard size or version, this is considered the basic service. Different sizes, variants, or custom-made products can be ordered – if offered – by the winner paying the corresponding price difference.

Cash payment, transfer or exchange of the prize is excluded unless expressly stated otherwise.

Profit Determination & Procedure

The duration of each competition and the method of determining the winner are specified in the respective competition entry.

The winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram. The winner is obligated to... within 24 hours of receiving the notification of winning to report back.

If no response is received within this period, does the claim to the prize lapse? and a new winner will be determined according to the procedure described in the competition entry.

The winner's name will only be published with their explicit consent.

Shipment
Unless otherwise specified in the respective competition post, shipping will take place Free of charge within GermanyFor international shipments, the winner will bear the shipping costs.

Subject to change and liability

The organizer reserves the right to adapt, change or prematurely terminate competitions for important reasons, in particular in the event of technical problems, manipulation attempts or legal reasons.
Legal recourse is excluded.

Data protection

In connection with social media competitions, personal data (e.g., Instagram profile name and, in the event of winning, name, address and, if applicable, email address) will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting and administering the respective competition. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

If the transaction is processed via the organizer's online shop, the data required for this purpose will be stored in accordance with the statutory commercial and tax law retention obligations.

Data will only be shared with service providers commissioned with processing (e.g., shipping or payment service providers) to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the contract.

Data subjects have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
