Handmade Chunky Knit Cave – Cozy Retreat for Cats & Small Dogs


Give your pet more than just a bed – give them a safe and cozy hideaway. Each chunky knit cave is handmade in my workshop in Lower Saxony, Germany, using sustainable XXL cotton yarn. Every piece is unique, combining comfort with modern design.


This cat cave is the perfect spot for your feline to rest, sleep, and feel protected. It can be used as a cat bed, a cat basket, or even a stylish cat house in your living room. Thanks to its soft and flexible texture, it adapts to your pet’s needs.


Small dogs also love this cave. The chunky cotton knit feels warm and soft, while the handmade stitches provide elasticity and comfort.


Choose from different sizes and many color variations to match your home – whether boho, Scandinavian, or classic.

Note :

These pet caves are hand-knitted and crocheted from flexible cotton yarn. They are soft and not rigid. Larger models may lose shape under weight, for example, if a cat jumps on top. Simply reshape the cave and it will look beautiful again.

I try to process orders as quickly as possible. I usually ship the ordered items within 4-14 days. However, it can sometimes take longer. This happens if your desired yarn color is currently out of stock and I'm waiting for a restock, or if I've just received a large number of orders. Since I only have two hands, I process each order in order.

Raw materials:

I select my raw materials with particular care. My yarns are either certified organic cotton, certified according to both GOTS and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, or made from recycled cotton and recycled fibers. The new wool toys I currently have are made from mulesing-free new wool from free-range sheep. The sheep live freely in the Tyrolean mountains and are driven down to the valley once a year for shearing. New wool products will only be available until my wool supply is exhausted. After that, I will only offer vegan products.
