“Emma” – Handmade Dog Cave from Cotton Yarn

The “Emma” dog cave is a cozy retreat for small dogs. It combines the comfort of a dog bed, dog basket and dog house in one product. Your dog will find warmth and relaxation inside this soft hideaway. This cozy retreat is perfect for snuggling, sleeping, and feeling safe. It's perfect for small dogs like Chihuahuas, Mini-Dachshunds, Yorkies, Westies and so on.

Each cave is handmade in my small manufactory in Lower Saxony, Germany. I use high-quality tube yarn: the outer material is certified cotton (Oeko-Tex Standard 100, GOTS), filled with soft polyester fiber for extra comfort. This makes the “Emma” dog cave both durable and sustainable.

Care instructions

Washable at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Do not wash hotter to avoid shrinking, swelling or fading of the yarn.

Note on form

The cave is soft and flexible due to the hand-knitted and crocheted structure. It has no rigid frame and may flatten if your dog lies on top. Simply reshape it with your hands.

Each item is custom-made after your order. Minor variations in shape and color are part of the handmade charm. Color may appear different on screens.
