“Zopfhöhle” – Handmade Cat Cave from XXL Organic Cotton Yarn

The Zopfhöhle is a cozy retreat for your cat – individually handmade in my small manufactory in Lower Saxony. With its patented design, it is not only soft and inviting but also a stylish addition to your home.

Each cave is crafted from an organic cotton knitted tube, filled with premium polyester hollow fibers, the same used in high-quality pillows. The yarn is certified by GOTS and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 – free from harmful substances and completely safe, even for sensitive pets.

The structure is elastic and flexible, never stiff, making it the perfect cat cave, cat bed, or cat basket.

Sizes (inner base, approx.):

• S: 25–29 cm

• M: 30–34 cm

• L: 35–39 cm

Outer size approx. 12 cm larger, height 30–60 cm (depending on size).

Care:

Washable at 30 °C gentle cycle. Do not wash hotter to avoid shrinking or fading.

Note on shape:

The cave is soft and flexible, not rigid. If your cat jumps on top, it may lose form. Simply reshape it to restore its look.
